Topic: As I think
When I first read Ramayana certain parts of it didn't make sence to me. Lord Rama is portrayed as "Ramo vigrahavan dharmah" (personification of virtues). But then his later day actions such as disowning his wife Sita and his children didn't make sence to me. Definitely it is a later day insertion in the Ramayana to just make it look bad. I consider it as Lord Rama's character assasination. Character assasination of Lord Rama is something which was deliberatly done during the course of the time.
Not only Ramayana but also almost all of the Hindu scriptures including Vedas have been falsified.
Modern day Hindu scholars instead of denying what was said in the scriptures try to pacify it in vain. For example I heard many Hindu scholars trying to justify Lord Rama's actions towards his wife rather than denying that such thing could have ever taken place. Though there are some rare brave scholars who would deny it. I remember hearing Sri Murari Bapu a very well known scholar on Ramayana denying that Lord Rama ever sent Sita away to forrest. He thinks that it is a flaw deliberately pushed in to Ramayana to make Lord Rama appear cruel. I agree with him.
I wonder, those who were able to physically destroy the Kasi Temple, Ayodhya Temple weren't able to distroy the scriptures which glorify the Lords of those temple?! What has happend to 15th cetury Mayan culture is known to the entire world. It was an annihilation. I believe the same is happend to Hindu Temples and their scriptures.
Those who want to criticize the scriptures only use the information that is not true as authentic source. For example I recently heard a middleeastern religious scholar saying their prophet's name is mentioned in Atharvaveda (a part of Hindu four vedas). Again this is false. I believe who ever has falsifed Hindu scriptures are successful. It has thrown the whole ancient religion in to dogma and unnecessary confusion.
Same way Hindu Upanishads (end of part of vedas) were falsified by inserting Allopanishad and Sailopanishad. Clearly these two upanishads never a part of authentic Hindu scriptures! Sailopanishad is nothing but "Sermon on the mount" translated in to beautiful ancient vedic sanscrit language!
I think Hindu scholars have to comeout openly and accept a modal based on which the whole scriptures could be understood. Such a modal already exists! It is time to wakeup.
